Open Policy ForumsThe open Policy Forums occur throughout the year, focused on different topics. They are a way for people to come together to work through issues, and to arrive at recommendations that I can forward to ministers and other relevant bodies. Stafford consultationsI regularly hold consultations in advance of Bills coming before parliament. This is an essential way of helping me to represent your views. If you would like to be kept informed about consultations please leave your details.
Government consultationsThe government is actively developing new ways of listening to your views. Many of the bills coming before parliament are preceded by a number of months of public consultation, and many of these consultation exercises occur on line. Queen’s SpeechThe Queen's Speech gives details of forthcoming legislation. ( The link will be updated once the 2008 Queen's Speech has been made.) An important part of the work of an MP is to scrutinise Legislation and represent the views of constituents on any amendments that may be needed.
