Advice service from British Banking association

David Kidney says. I am very aware of how stressful the last year has been for many people running small businesses. Because of this I was glad to hear from the British Banking association that they are trying to ensure that their customers have access to the best advice possible.

As a first line of advice they suggest it may be worth contacting the following

Business Link: a free business advice and support service.

Helpline: 0845 600 9006; website:

www.businesslink.gov.uk

Citizens Advice

free, confidential and independent advice.

Website: www.adviceguide.org.uk

Business Debtline

free, confidential advice for small businesses.

Helpline: 0800 197 6026; website: www.bdl.org.uk

In some cases this help may not be enough, and because of this the BBA has also provided special helplines to help me and other MPs to get through to the right specialist help on your behalf.

For any of my constituents who are undergoing money worries I would ask that you do seek out the good help that is available, and that you do call upon me if you feel you need my help.
