We are in the middle of an information revolution. The whole process of government is becoming more transparent than it has ever been before, and there are many different ways of finding out what is going on. Follow the link for suggestions on finding out more.
The Government is actively working to develop better ways of hearing your opinions. Taking part in consultations is becoming much easier as many of the consultations now take place on line. follow the link for details of current consultations. David is using this site to gather your views on a number of issues. here is a list of the current opportunities to have your say. David regularly holds consultation events so that you can help him decide on the right position on important votes. This gives details of some past and future consultations. David feels it is important to open up the process of policy making, and to involve as many people as possible. That is why we have begun holding Open Policy Forums in Stafford. These events are hosted by the Labour Party, but they are not party political and they are open to anyone with an interest in the issue under discussion. Some of the things that David thinks are important for the future of Stafford. This gives suggestions on how you can get involved in Making Stafford Better. Coming soon - this will be a summary of many of the major areas of policy - what are the big questions? Coming soon - Often it is difficult to get across the complexity of particualar issues in the press or media. This slot will be used to look more deeply at some of the important questions we face.
